Edwina firstly showed us some of her quilts which demonstrated the different arrangements of the blocks we were about to create. She then gave us a very entertaining and interesting workshop on how to make decisions about colour and design. Through making small 4 – 6 inch squares we learnt which fabrics worked together and, more importantly, which didn’t!
The day finished with us all looking at each others work and suggestions on the best way to finish the piece were given.
Its hoped that many examples will be brought to our Show and Tell at the Christmas meeting.
